The function was organised by Raja Najabat Hussain Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Self determination Movement International and Councillor Yasmine Dar. It was presided over by British MP Mr James Frith and attended interalia by over dozen British MPs including Rt Hon Sir James former Home Secretary and Foreign Secretary ,
Aimr Yaseen MLA, Naz Shah MP and Mr Afzal MP. Senator Dr Humayun and Mr Bakhtavri Chairman D Watson also attended the conference.
Senator Abdul Qayyum thanked all British parliamentarians for their support for the Kashmir cause but stated that meaningful break through will only be possible when individual MPs positive support is also reflected in the British Government’s foreign policy on Kashmir.
